WHO WE ARE
We are Gabriel, Vanessa, and our children—a Christ-centered, missionally driven family committed to following Jesus' call. After more than a decade of serving as missionaries in Europe, we have come to Southern California to establish communities of believers (plant churches) and support existing ministries. We firmly believe in Kingdom partnership and are excited to join in the work God is already doing.
WHERE WE’RE GOING
We planted New Wave Los Angeles in 2022, and our vision has grown. Over the next four years, we’re planning to plant two more churches.
Assesment | Stadia Church Planting
Stadia’s Church Planting Assessment Team recommends that Gabriel and Vanessa Menchaca pursue leadership in the planting of a new church. They have the calling, competencies, capacity and contextual fit necessary to plant a church. They are two very strong and gifted leaders. Their marital strength, their personal spiritual journey, and their grit will be an asset as they plant.
Training | city to city los angeles
Successfully completed City to City LA’s two year training and coaching incubator process and have demonstrated competency in Gospel fluency, Gospel Renewal, Gospel Preaching, Evangelistic Networking, and Community Engagement.
